The APIII (Advancing Practice, Instruction & Innovation through Informatics) session at SIIM 2009 will focus on exploring the common ground between pathology and radiology informatics and making attendees aware of the future convergences of pathology and radiology informatics that may ultimately lead to integrated diagnostic centers. 

 

Topics include how the confluence of radiology and pathology informatics will affect practitioners; what does a pathologist do, what systems do they use, and what is their workflow?; and integrated radiology and pathology workflows.
