The SIIM Member Lounge & Resource Center is a great place to gather, meet colleagues, browse SIIM publications, recharge your laptop, and learn more about SIIM membership benefits, programs, and resources.
SIIM staff will be present in the Membership Center to answer questions about SIIM membership programs and tools, including the SIIM Career Center, SIIM-affiliated user groups, continuing education, and professional development. In the Research & Science Center, learn about 2010 grant applications, the “Ride to SIIM” giving program, submission of articles to the Journal of Digital Imaging (JDI), and the SIIM 2010 meeting abstract submission process.
Come by the IIP Resource Center to preview and purchase the new SIIM Practical Imaging Informatics book and learn about SIIM’s publications, educational web seminars, and resources for imaging informatics professionals.
Speak to SIIM board members, committee chairs, and staff about committee participation and volunteer opportunities within SIIM.
Come meet up with your new Twitter and social networking contacts and friends face-to-face.
And please don’t forget to drop off your business card at the Member Lounge by Friday, June 5 at noon to be eligible for the door prize drawings at the Annual SIIM Membership Meeting.
