The Flattened World as the New Enterprise: Threats, Opportunities, and the Role of Imaging IT
Saturday, June 6 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Ballroom AB
|
| |
Electronic-based imaging has been a dominant and highly successful enabling technology that has allowed users to provide image services throughout the entire health care enterprise. The ubiquitous accessibility of electronic images is no longer constrained by any geographical or business boundary. While some have maximally leveraged these electronic-based technologies to enhance the quality, value, and timeliness of their services to a greater number of consumers, the electronic availability of images has also threatened to marginalize these providers into a commodity.
In this session, a panel of experts from the user and vendor communities will discuss how imaging IT should be properly leveraged to enhance the relevance and
value of service providers rather than accelerate their commoditization. |
