Special sessions highlight areas of interest and focus for specific audiences attending the SIIM Annual Meeting.

PACS administrators interested in preparing for the ABII certification exam can take the IIP Bootcamp challenge and get on the path to becoming an effective and competent imaging informatics professional.

Physicians interested in practical imaging informatics can take advantage of a special week-end rate and attend the Imaging Physician Bootcamp, a course specifically developed for practicing physicians.

ABII Certified Imaging Informatics Professionals (CIIPs) can attend the CIIP Forum and make vital new contacts with fellow CIIPs. Collectively, the CIIPs can take the lead to influence the developing standards of practice for the profession.

In the spirit of SIIM embracing the broader imaging field beyond radiology, the Pathology Informatics Session features a special concentration on the synergies and differences between pathology and radiology.

Learning Labs – whether the topic areas are Nagios, Wikis, ITK/VTK or XIP – SIIM learning labs provide the small group, interactive sessions that add the hands-on experience to the SIIM Annual Meeting.
