The first CIIP educational forum at the SIIM Annual Meeting will feature two sequential tracks of content to fill in some of the gaps in the practice of Imaging Informatics. 
 
Part I: A Clinical Focus
 

Sunday, June 7
8:00 am – 10:00 am

Meeting Room 217AB

Presented in conjunction with the ABII

 

This track will address information in specific areas shown to be problematic for examinees.

 

arrow Workflow within the radiology department with a focus on IHE and real world application of the standard
arrow Typical roles and responsibilities of IIPs within the clinical environment
arrow Image creation and manipulation  principles and how these relate to the practice of Imaging Informatics

In addition to these two educational sessions, there will be a forum for CIIP delegates to contribute and comment on the creation of standards of practice for the profession of Imaging Informatics.  As the recognized leaders in our profession we encourage every CIIP to attend and contribute to the discussion.
